This is the result of my second shoot of this project because my first photos were lost when my camera was stolen. I think the first shoot probably came out better, but I think I’m the only one who would notice the tiny differences, so there is that. :)
When designing these, I wanted to emphasize the number 2, and after working on it for a while and talking to Tyler about it, he came up with the idea of attaching a heart to the 2, which was a great touch. I used a coral pink gradient in the script-like font (buttermilk), and then I did steps of different shades of pinks with the shapes. The shapes were not intentionally inspired by Mary Blair, but it certainly has her vibe! I also stepped the shades of pink and the weight of the font in our address and the date and time, to emphasize the “ombré” effect (although, technically ombré is a dying effect that has a seamless gradient). I added gold touches to the invite with a gold paint pen, and the envelope lining, which was of course, just gold wrapping paper! I stuffed confetti in the envelope so that when the invite arrived, there was a burst of fun confetti! :)
These turned out SOOO good!!!
Amazing! You have outdone yourself :)
